Is It Good or Bad?

     

      DepEd Order 049 s. 2022 states that "Avoid relationships, interaction, and communication, including following social media with learners outside of the school setting, except if they are relatives." Is it good or bad? These D.O. promotes proffesionalism for the teachers in delivering basic education. Of course, boundaries are set & discernment are at work in dealing with them. But, why will they curtail the privilege of strengthening bond with the learners in the social media? During pandemic Facebook and Messenger was the only means that help us to reach us towards our teachers. They were able to cope up thru our Group Chats. Even today, which these is a big help for us to easily underatand the lessons. So, l strongly disagree with that order. It is not a child friendly and is setting boundaries to us students and all our teachers. 

       The 2020 pandemic has extremely affected our life’s aspects especially education. This problem was solved by online learning, an education that takes place over the internet. Online classes may be a good option, but it does not really top what we experience and learn during face-to-face classes. There are some benefits that we earn from online classes. First is added flexibility and self-paced learning, not numerous individuals have the capacity to require time off from work to still go to juggle working and going back to school, the adaptability of an internet program gives people with the opportunity to memorize whereas still working and developing professionally. Second, improved virtual communication, learning to work with others in a virtual environment can make you a more effective leader. You’ll create basic authority aptitudes by utilizing communication hones. Lastly, a broader global perspective being uncovered to modern thoughts from experts in other nations may start imagination of your own creativity that can turn out to be important for your organization.
